Tracy Laulhere is a photographer who currently divides her time between suburban Southern California and rural Northern California. She studied psychology and child development at Stanford and UCI, taught at the college-level, and then pursued private family life.
Over the last decade and a half, she has self-taught and attended workshops on photography and the visual arts. She explores psychological themes in her photographic work, in particular notions of homelife and childhood, feelings of loss and hope surrounding parental transitions, and the role of environment and place on behavior. She has exhibited her work in shows at the Center for Fine Art Photography and PhotoPlace Gallery.
